Take advantage of 75% discounts on your travels abroad. The discount also applies to train connections outside of the Czech Republic. 75% of the fare will be proportionally deducted based on the way the train travels in the Czech Republic, so the ticket abroad will be much cheaper!

I am a senior over 65 years of age, what do I need to claim a 75% discount? To prove your entitlement to a discount you will need an ID card, that is, any valid document which displays your age. Any valid document is sufficient.
I am a 26-year-old student, what do I need to claim a 75% discount? You can prove your entitlement to a discount with a valid ISIC card (in the form of a plastic card) or student ID card. This is issued by all carriers in the Czech Republic and the school you attend as a full-time student. The new so-called state discount cannot be combined with existing benefits. If you are a student under the age of 26 and an ISIC card holder, a discount on the fare is 75%. Entitlement to the 10% discount for the ISIC card holder is no longer valid. Only cardholders older than 26 years of age and cardholders with digital ISIC card can use this discount.
How are children between the ages of 6 and 15 able to claim a 75% discount? Children at this age are simply entitled to a discount and do not have to prove it. A verbal statement stating that they are under the age of 15 is sufficient.
How are young people aged 15-17 able to claim a 75% discount? From the age of 15, young people obtain ID cards which will help them prove their right to a discount on the fare. Other sufficient official documents such as passport or a card issued by a carrier must include their photograph, name, surname, and date of birth.
From when does 75% discount apply? Discount can be applied on bus and train connections from 1st September 2018.
On which routes does the 75% discount apply? From September 1st, all children and adolescents under 18 years of age, students under the age of 26 and senior citizens over 65 can apply a fare discount on our yellow domestic buses or trains on both domestic and international routes.
How is it possible to also apply discounts on RegioJet international trains? This involves an exemption based on the Railway Act which is valid for a long time. However, we will not go into legislation. Let´s keep it simple. The price of a train ticket depends on the number of kilometers traveled on your trip. If you travel by our yellow train, for example, from Prague to Bratislava, the 75% discount (if you are entitled to it) will be deducted from the price of kilometers traveled in the Czech Republic, and there are more than 300 of them, only 80 left to Bratislava. The same discount will be deducted if you board a train to Bratislava for example in Brno. However, since you traveled fewer kilometers through Czech territory on the route from South Moravia to the Slovakian capital, the discount on the total price of the ticket will not be so considerable.
Are the discounts valid only for citizens of the Czech Republic? No. Everyone who qualifies for a 75% discount on the fare is entitled to it on the territory of the Czech Republic. Therefore, a child or an adolescent under the age of 18, a student aged under 26 or a senior over 65 years of age. The state grant can be used by foreign students or tourists.
For which train classes does 75% discount apply to? Discount applies to Low-Cost, which is free of service, but also to the Standard or Relax class, where stewards and stewardesses provide service during your trip. You can not benefit from a discount in case you choose our highest Business class. More information about tariffs and discounts can be found here.
Is it possible to combine discounts? It is not possible to combine the individual discounts we offer (more information here). For each trip, you can only use one of the discounts. For example, if you are a student aged under 26 and you travel by our yellow train from Prague to Vienna, you can not claim a 75% discount on your trip in the Czech Republic and 10% on your trip in Austria as an ISIC card holder. You simply have to choose the discount that is a more beneficial discount for you at the moment.
Does the discount apply to the Credit ticket? Yes, if you are a holder of our Credit ticket you can continue to enjoy the benefits of this card. If you are eligible for a 75% discount it will be deducted from the already preferential price for the Credit ticket holder. It is possible to obtain one at your nearest RegioJet branch. You will be traveling between Prague and Brno by our RegioJet train from only 23 CZK.
When do I prove that I am entitled to a discount? The obligation to prove entitlement to a discount will not make your journey more complicated. If you are traveling by bus, the steward or stewardess will check the required card or document when boarding a yellow bus. If you are using our train connections, please submit the student card or the required document to our steward's request. It usually occurs at the beginning of the journey when you receive a bottle of water for refreshment from them.
Can I apply a 75% discount retrospectively? No. Please properly familiarize yourself with available tariffs and discounts and keep the rules of their use in mind when buying a ticket. You can not retrospectively claim the discount claim and prospective claims will not be taken into account.
